The one I keep seeing mentioned the most is Lek Car Rental. What I like is that their cars are all insured with 1st class fully comprehensive coverage. I’m sure they won’t mind me quoting frome their site:

Another rental company is Udon Car Rent, whose site also stresses having 1st class insurance. They’ll pick you up at the airport with your chosen rental car. You can read about their services for yourself on their site, and check out the “Rental Guides” link that’s currently at the base of their main Web page.

There is also Udon Thani Car Rental — check out their spiel for yourself. They do advertise “Free delivery and pickup within metropolitan locations,” so I expect that should include the airport.

Now, the Udon Thani Airport Website has a link to a page advertising Udon Thani Airport Car Rental. What you’ll find there are some logos for some well-known car rental companies, and a ‘Car Hire’ search engine. And that’s all I can tell you without trying the search feature myself. There is no further information on the page about any of the car rentals, or the various rental conditions.

I found a Web page for the Airport Terminal Udon thani Car Rental Counter
…but none of the links for further details or even for booking work. Thus, it may be a thing of the past? There are both a telephone and a FAX number given at the bottom of the page, if you’re interested at all in giving it a try.

Pet Car Rental is yet one more possibility offering free airport pick-up. I failed to notice much in the way of details on their services, or the conditions they impose.

The Udonmap.com Website has what they describe as Udon Thani Car Hire Links. There are only three listed as of this post, but they promise more soon.

A site called CarRentalBookers.com has a section called Car Hire Udon Thani Airport that you could check out. I wonder if they’re at all related to the Udon thani Car Rental Counter cited earlier — the one with the non-functioning links for details or booking?

It’s quite surprising to me how many Websites that are external to Udon Thani, or even to Thailand, that are claiming to offer car rental services. I’d prefer something local, but maybe they’re legit. Examples are Decode Car Hire, Imakoocars, Thai Rent A Car, Every Car Hire, liligo, Rental Car Group, Nova Car Hire, Avis, Fast Car Hire…and I think I’ll stop there.  You surely get the idea!

There are Thai companies in Udon Thani from which you could rent a car, but language would prove a barrier — especially in terms of full disclosure.
