Lonely Planet‘s Thorn Tree travel forum has a February 13, 2008, query posted as International bus from Udon Thani to Talat Sao, Vientiane. As well, from May 15, 2009, there is the query headed Air Asia and Udon Thani to Vientiane; another from October 31, 2010, titled Udon Thani – Vientiane – Luang Prabang….. Various questions; and another still from August 26, 2010, titled Udon Thani to Vientiane.
GoNOMAD has an undated article titled Across the Friendship Bridge: An Alternative Way to get from Thailand to Laos that I would hope is being updated, but I don’t really believe it is. Not knowing when it was originally posted means, of course, that the information may be inaccurate in some areas.
