Green Gecko, Northern Thailand
Green Gecko is a private villa on a large farm, surrounded by forests, plantations and rice fields in the heart of Thailand's rural northeast, near a town called Udon Thani. Accessible from the deck into two separate buildings were those of two bedrooms (each with air conditioning), and the living room, dining room and kitchen. The second bedroom has a queen size canopy bed, again with a Large bathroom and WC.
The air conditioned main building houses a dining room with table and chairs for six years, a lounge with comfortable sofas and views over the pool and an area below furnished with futons to rest before the big screen LCD TV (with a contract high of home cinema and international channels via satellite). Once engaged in this area (behind sliding panels of wood) is an additional WC and a fully equipped Western (with built in microwave, oven, etc.), which in turn held a stainless steel kitchen Thailand.
We must admit that it seemed very easy to use, but we never used the kitchen – except to help ourselves to a couple of beers with ice in the fridge! As the owner is a former chef, he prepares meals for all guests during their stay, spicy or varying the composition of tastes his guests. We were delighted to be proven in the gardens to collect a number of herbs and spices, then show us how the spirit in dishes deliciously fresh and tasty from the Northeast. We also sought the classic Thai food is definitely mouth water, and stay in a villa like this at all meals are prepared for you by a leader who is willing to share their secrets, was a blessing!
We spend a good amount of time lounging at the pool in complete privacy, but also enjoyed a series of excursions with our guests to discover some of the sites and sounds of the Northeast. It was a spectacular ride on a wooden boat across a lake that was essentially a vast expanse of pink lotus flowers, only interrupted by the occasional fisherman or wallowing water buffalo (propositioners marriage take note!) also visited a local museum that seems to refer to Thailand, home of the Bronze Age, and a series of outrageous, festivals colorful local markets and live animals, as well as silk and farms cobra. But our lasting impression was one of rural simplicity and always friendly inhabitants, anxious to ensure we enjoyed our stay and enjoy an infinite variety of indigenous foods and beverages!

The Villas of Napasai, Southern Thailand
Napasai The villas are in the luxury resort beachfront on the north coast of Koh Samui in the southern province of Surat Thani in Thailand. Koh Samui is accessible via Bangkok Airways from Bangkok, with flights an hour (depending on aircraft or elected).
The complex is part of Orient-Express Hotels, Trains and Cruises: as such, both the villa and complex were treated professionally, and we were able to choose between cooking your own Thai food after a visit to local markets, or simply walking the complex excellent Thai restaurant on the night.
The villas themselves are a end of the property, located between the steep hills behind our house and the sea front. Each villa is directed by the slope towards sea We stayed in a villa with two bedrooms, but three bedroom properties were also available. Beyond the two rooms well furnished our property was a large living room with kitchen, maid's room, and the ground floor, a private pool and chill-out zone. The main hall was well furnished and had a DVD player, satellite TV, balcony and beautiful sea view, where we spend most evenings.
The island of Koh Samui is a major international tourist center and as such an abundance of activities available to guests, Scan waterfalls, elephant rides, paintball, watersports, diving, fishing, golf, etc. The hotel also offers transportation, Thai cooking classes, tennis courts, gymnasium and spa.
