According to a February 21 (2012) Facebook entry:
Isaan resort has ceased to operate…thanks for all your support…..new resort coming soon!
Isaan resort is located on the outskirts of the sleepy market village of Ban Fang about 25km from Khon Kaen. Our rural location means peace and quiet, a traditional way of life away from the tourist areas.
Facebook seems to be the only online presence for this place, so I cannot tell you anything more about it.
Of course, Isaan is the setting for a number of other resorts.
In Buriram, there is the Jintana Resort.
Nakhon Ratchasima has the Chayada Garden House & Resort, Hermitage Hotel & Resort, Pang Rujee Resort, Greenery Resort Khao Yai, Juldis Khao Yai Resort & Spa (Balios Resort), Phu Wanalee Resort, Sak Phu Duen Hotel & Resort, Chateau de Khaoyai Resort, Belle Villa Resort Khao Yai, Kirimaya Golf Resort & Spa, Klong Sai Hill Resort, Samanea Resort Khao Yai, and Piano Resort Khao Yai.
There is apparently even an “Isaan Resort” in Bueng Kan — the website is in German, and seems to have something to do with Isaan Tours and Holidays.
Two resorts in Surin are for sale in Thai Visa Classifieds. They are not named, however. One is described as “Nice resort for sale in Prasat, 30 km from Surin City” and going for 20,000,000 THB, with the ad set to expire Friday, 24 August 2012. The other is described as “Resort for sale in Surin” and going for 28,000,000 THB, with the ad set to expire Wednesday, 08 August 2012.
There was also an Isaan Resort in Surin advertised for sale in the Thai Visa Forum in a post dated September 22, 2010.
Without question, there are many other “resorts” in Isaan, but I think I will leave the matter at this for today.
