The Udonmap forum has an interesting thread begun last November and titled as follows: Be careful sending post via EMS Thailand.
Read some of the posts and give due consideration. I haven’t sent too much to Thailand, but I did have one small package disappear. As I recall, it only contained a birthday or some other similar greeting card, along with a DVD of some videos I had taken during a visit. And maybe some photographs.
But it is certainly true that mail from Thailand coming here to Canada has been dreadfully slow. The reason is just as identified in that forum thread — Customs here in Canada holds it up for ridiculous lengths of time. It should be criminal to be so damned slow in clearing things. The nosy bu**ers want above all else to be sure the receiver isn’t getting something that could have extra tax or duty applied to it; or else that can be forfeited as a restricted item.

Hows NYC? Ive been meditating in the forest for the past 2 weeks, and Im going back for another 2 months this afternoon. Are you still coming here this december?
My meditation is going pretty good, its gets a little lonely because only one monk speaks english. Its peaceful tho, and hopefully I’ll gain some insight into reality. I live in a little kuti hut in the jungle with a little river outside my door. I sleep on the floor and there are usually a ton of bugs crawling around at night time, my hut becomes like a discovery channel special with the geckos eating bugs etc etc.
Any new projects? Ive been thinking about what Im gonna be doing after this.
I wont be able to email you back for another month, maybe two, but let me know what your plans are.
