udon thani blog

There are, of course, quite a number of blogs related to Thailand. But since the focus here is Udon Thani, then I reckon expat Udon thani Thailand is one of the most aptly named. This is its own description:
this blog on udon thani was built to try to provide readers like myself honest unbiased info on general life in udon thani and the province of issan i have also placed links to other blogs which is something that i feel is very important i can not hold a monopoly on udon thani as some websites try to i hope you find this blog usefull if you do link back to me and forward onto your friends
i welcome comments if i have got it wrong in your opinion please tell me
expat udon thani is and always will support all other issan Thailand based blogs in providing usefull content to all of you out there regards john
A related blog — I suspect it’s run by the same gent — is the irish clock blog. For anyone who does not know, the Irish Clock is a pub and guesthouse in Udon Thani.
Other so-called blogs as hosted on sites like Travbuddy and Travelpod have single entries by visitors to Udon Thani that may be collected together to form an Udon Thani blog, but I think it’s specious to be identifying them as blogs.
For anyone with a command of French, there is Le blog de Patrick en Thailande: La province d’Udonthani. He looks like he has a lot of fun with it!
Oddly enough, there seem to be a couple other French blogs, such as LE BLOG DE THIERRY EN PAYS ISAN and Le blog d’Alain à Udon Thani. Even Trips Thailande.
I rather suspect that there might be other non-English blogs centering on the Udon Thani area. It amazes me that Expats Retired there have not taken up blogging about this wonderful place. After all, just because they may feel blase about life there, many people are fascinated by Udon Thani and long to be there. A photo blog would be truly wonderful, and it wouldn’t take long to compile a host of entries covering so very, very much of the city and its environs.
