I have never been to Udon’s “Night Market.” Consequently, I only know of it what I have read. And in turn, all I am able to do is refer you to the reports of some folks who have had the distinction of actually visiting the place.
Let us lead off with the blog Beyond the Mango Juice, and the post from July of this year titled Udon Thani’s Night Market Scene.
Members of the Udonmap forum used to gather at the ‘Market’ once a month as a means of getting to know each other better, and allowing out-of-towners, as well as forum members from abroad who might be visiting Udon Thani, to meet the regulars. I am sure some forum members still do gather there, but I think the current general practice is to gather at The Book House & Coffee Shop. This post begun last June substantiates that impression: ”Monthly Get Together”.

I rather like this hand-drawn map of Udon Thani — it lists the ‘Night Market’ (letter ‘D,’ although ‘C’ seems to be sharing in the recognition as being part of the ‘Night Market’ scene).
Maybe one day yet, I, too, will be a familiar frequenter of Udon’s ‘Night Market!’
