The Major Cinexplex Group Public Co. Ltd. is, according to Wikipeida, the largest operator of movie theaters in Thailand. Their Website is here. It has a field in which you can select the location of interest to you, and if you are not specific about any particular movie, it will list what is currently playing, along with the show times. You can even select details about any movie being shown on what appears to be seven screens in the Udon Thani location.
All seven theatre screens in Udon Thani show to a combined seating capacity of 2,000 (according to here).
The site is not as responsive as we may be accustomed to here in the West, but it does look nice and flashy in its dark colour scheme.

I do not know if the images here are of the Udon Thani location, but it all looks good!
You would go here to register to be a Major Cineplex member, entitling you to possible discounts and eligibility for promotions and so forth. But to have to provide one’s Thai Citizen ID number or — in the case of an Expat — a Passport number, seems to me excessively demanding just to be part of a movie theatre membership!
“You should be enter your real infomation for your priority to online ticket in our web site. If we found your wrong information we can cut you from our member.” The last thing I would ever want is for the action word “cut” being associated with my own “member!”

Major Cineplex Udon Thani:
Coming to this Major Cineplex was like going back through time. Because Robinson is one of the oldest department stores even in Bangkok, so the atmosphere kind of brings back good memories. Udon Thani, being one of the biggest cities in the Northeast and a transit pass to the capital of Laos, Vientian this movie theater would seem to be the most up to date and luxurious for up-country standards. However, there are no movies shown in English soundtrack. This sort of taken away some of the potential foreign customers that were there.
