Pooying (variously spelled poo ying, and poo-ying) simply means a female or woman. So as a search term, Udon Thani pooying would suggest that someone is seeking information relating to the women of Udon Thani…and probably for ‘recreational’ reasons.
I never played, so I don’t know. I got myself committed into a relationship rather smartly upon visiting Thailand that first time. I intended to have that sort of fun after roughly my first week in the country, but I knew no one apart from the Thai ladies who had befriended me and taken an almost proprietary interest in my welfare. I was never to hang out with other Farangs, or even to sit and have drinks with one — apart from a British chap I met at Bangkok’s Don Muang Airport on my second day in Thailand as we awaited the flight to Udon Thani where I was to be met by the ladies who were behind my visit to Thailand in the first place.
I didn’t go to Thailand to meet Westerners, so I didn’t make an effort to socialize with any. I don’t tend to strike up conversations with strangers here in Canada, so it was the same with me in Thailand. And that’s perhaps unfortunate. I never learned where the bars were in which I would have been comfortable — I never found out about Farang Alley in Udon Thani until my third and last visit to Thailand in 2005, the trip in which I married the woman who is now my wife, and whom I’d met on my first trip in early 2003.
Consequently, I never had the sort of Thailand experience a lot of Western men go there to have. I suppose if I had managed to meet a Farang on that first trip in Udon who might have undertaken to get me oriented, I’d likely not be married to the woman I share my life with today.

My wife is the gal on the far right. It was her sister-in-law, Sujittra (second from the left), who persuaded me to make that first trip to her country in 2003, promising that she would look after everything if I could just get myself to Udon Thani.
These four women were absolute rocks as friends…even if I often wished I could be running a little crazy. But they no doubt kept me safe, and I saw a lot of the country I’d not otherwise have bothered to see.
In conclusion, if you have found this post because of a search that has led you here, I regret that I have not provided the kind of information you were perhaps seeking. Some of the forums discuss that sort of thing, although often you have to join in order to access private sections on the forum where the topic may exist.
