I’ve just tried a website called Used Cars Thailand — if you click on the link, you will see that the URL is http://usedcarudonthani.com/. It looked very promising…until I actually searched for used cars for sale in Udon Thani. Two turned up as being available. Why only two, if the website is UsedCarUdonThani.com? Well, it seems that whomever is behind Used Cars Thailand has bought up quite a number of different Domain names bearing other Thai city names, and they all translate into the same website — in other words, they all point you to the same place (http://www.used-cars-thailand.com). Give it a shot: UsedCarPhuket.com, UsedCarPattaya.com, UsedCarChonburi.com. There are others. But absolutely no fault is being directed by me at the website owner — in fact, it’s a shrewd marketing idea. But it did slightly mislead me, causing me to think that Udon Thani might be the base for the website when it clearly was not — how could it be, if only two cars were being advertised for there? (But maybe there will be more on the date you try a search?) Anyway, the contact address is given as:

The same website also turns up when you click on MotorbikeForSaleUdonThani.com, so I suspect that there’ll be other cities replacing Udon Thani in that Web address that will take you to Used Cars Thailand, too.
The UdonMap forum has a thread that I pointed out in a previous post on this topic, and which returned a lot of interesting opinion: Used Car Dealer Recommendations? The post was begun February 15, 2010, but it does prove of interest to see what other forum members thought concerning the question. There is an older thread (begun March 9, 2009) titled shopping used cars. By the way, the forum has a Classifieds section where members post concerning Cars & Trucks For Sale/Wanted.
The website Udon Recommended lists a dealership called LNS Auto:
LNS Auto offers a wide range of quality used pick-up trucks and cars across all popular makes and models. The show rooms are separated into two lots, one all trucks and the other all cars. Prices are displayed on all vehicles along with key features and possible finance terms. Sales staff have a reasonable level of English.
I know nothing of them, but a poster at the UdonTalk forum can be quoted as having said, “To their credit they do have a good reputation.” Of course, that was back in March, 2010.
A site called eGuide has four car dealers listed as of the date of this post.
I only got a return of two cars for Udon Thani when I used the Advance search feature at Thai Visa Classifieds.
A search at Cars4thais.com yielded four cars in the North East (Udon Thani, Ubon Region).
I noticed a Jeep Cherokee for sale at Udon Thani in the Thailand Classifieds. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem possible to just search out Udon Thani; rather, one has to scroll through the various pages of what is currently claimed to be 148 cars.
