After seeking some help about the lost posts that existed prior to February 27, 2010, I was apprized of a trick whereby access can be made of Google’s cached records of a Website.
I’ve been slowly reconstructing the empty posts with the content available in these caches.
However, I’ve discovered that these caches seem to include grammatical and syntactical errors that I am certain I had corrected in the original posts. It is almost as if the caches stored the content of posts before they had been proofread and corrected.
Consequently, I may well have included these cache errors in some posts while copying and pasting them.
If so, it was innocently done, and is not an issue of blatant carelessness or ignorance.

Veering Away From Problems In Buying Or Selling Websites
Despite the many benefits in buying and selling websites, there will always be major problems. These take place because the buyer or the seller of the website do not have any idea what the things are that should be done; and how to can solve minor problems along the way. In order to veer away from major problems that can be encountered in buying or selling a website, here are some things that the buyer or seller should take into consideration:
1. Resolve major monetary issues.
In this case, the major objective of the seller is to make a positive image so the deal will proceed smoothly. For the seller to do this, he or she should adequately put into order the website’s monetary statements and financial documents to ensure that there will be no problems once the buyer wants to know the financial status of the website. For the buyer, it is also a must for him to check if the proprietor has already arranged a complete set of financial papers, or at least a record containing information of the previous two years to know what the financial viability is of the website.
2. Be transparent on financial declarations.
Before selling his or her website, the seller should take it upon him- or to herself the responsibility of having the financial declarations reviewed — ideally, by an accounting firm. If this is not possible, at least have the financial declarations compiled by the website owner in an orderly manner. For the buyer, he or she must also check if the financial declarations have been audited, and if the statements can meet his or her expectations. This is also advantageous for the buyer, because if the financial declarations are precise and accurate, he or she would save time since there will be no need for recalculation.
3. Be careful on sudden closings.
Buyers and sellers alike should be very careful on sudden closings because it can alter the financial reports themselves. For initial transactions, these pieces of information don’t have to be audited; but they should be audited before the final arrangement takes place. The seller should be very careful in sudden closings because he or she should’t sell the site if there are financial warts. The seller should also keep in mind that the buyer will be able to find financial problems due to sudden closing eventually, so there’s no point in not fixing it now.
4. Avoid negotiations that have not worked out.
There’s an issue in having diverse deals and arrangements in a short time. This is because the buyer will not have enough time to find out if there were failed negotiations in the past. For both parties to avoid this kind of problem in buying and selling websites, they must find time to recover dissimilar tax implications so the deal won’t be put off.
5. Always be open to suggestions.
This will work both ways for the buyer and seller because being open to suggestions will not only make their negotiations easier, but will also enable them to move on and start anew. How can I keep a local copy of my website on my machine in Visual Web Developer Express?
II have used Visual Studio in the past to develop my website live and it also kept a copy of the files on my local machine. Now I’m using Visual Web Developer Express and it doesn’t keep a local copy. It creates one while I’m editing the file and then it deletes it when I close the file. Not good.
A few weeks ago I lost a valuable file and I had to pay $30 to recover it. If I knew how to keep a local copy in VWD I could’ve restored that local copy. Please help.
I was using MS Web Developer Express and what I was doing was creating the website locally using IIS or Apache, then I would update the remote host using the FTP feature, or simply uploading the files manually with an FTP client application.
I think MVSWD also has a synchronization feature where you can synchronize the remote and local website.
Of course, to use IIS you need to be running Windows XP Pro, Media Center, Windows 2003, or connected to a etwork with a 2003 Server and having permissions to use IIS with the Intranet.
I also know Microsoft released an informal documentation on how to run IIS in Windows XP Home.
