According to The Englishman’s Retreat Website: Udon Thani has four golf courses, all are 9 holes: Sirithani Forest (12kms – from hotel), Wing 22 (7kms away), Udon Golf Club & Resort (10kms), and finaly Nong Sam-rong Golf Course which is right on the doorstep of the hotel, and literally a 10 minute stroll to the club house.
The Irish Clock Website offers this, along with Weblinks to each golf course: Golfers are reasonably well catered for in Udon Thani. There are four 9-hole courses in the immediate area and one near Sakhon Nakhon, and there are two 18-hole courses in neghbouring provinces; one nearer Nong Khai and one near Khon Kaen. Prices start at 120 Baht and a little extra for a caddy tip which you usually pay at the end of your round. Some courses have their own driving ranges and there is also a driving range in Udon Thani on a small lane leading off Phosi Road (next door to the Dutch Milk shop).
ThaiGolfer names four courses — as well as lots of others elsewhere in Thailand — and each course name links to specific information about the quality of the courses that meant nothing to this non-golfer.
