As of the date of this post, the Surin area of Isaan seems to me to have more than its share of home sales happening. Of course, it would be folly to list any examples, because the links would last only as long as the homes were being advertised.

So you’ll have to do your own searching.

However, I’ll offer some sites you can perhaps give some attention to as places to browse.

I guess it’s a sign of the times that so many homes are now commonly well above the million Baht mark.

For starters, Mondinion.com had more of a selection than I expected. It would have been nice to have larger photos, though. If you know your Isaan provinces, just select your choices in the column at the left.

Another place to have a look is the Baht&Sold. Just select the isaan area in Field #1, and specify Homes/Apts For Sale in Field #2. (I lodge the same complaint concerning the lack of much size to the photos.)

This seemed to me a very novel way of trying to sell a home — give it it’s very own Website: JerrysHouseforSaleThailand.com!

Despite this site’s name, Surin.ThaiApartments.net, you’ll find lots of homes listed — take a look.

I noticed a video of theirs on Daily Motion, but either I was having bandwidth issues, or Daily Motion was in poor shape — I could never get the video to play all the way through.

It is also their video at the end of this post — one spotlighting one specific home.

GingerAsia has a few offerings — just select the Isaan province(s) of interest in the field in the centre of the page.

Maybe you’ll find something via Udon Thani House?

You may see something you like on Sawadee.com — just choose the province in the drop-down box, and click the Search button.

1Rai.com has some homes on offer in Isaan, displaying from the cheapest to most expensive.

Isaan Properties may also be able to help you out.

Another site for some listings is NongKhaiRealestate.com, covering all of Isaan.

The Thai Visa Classifieds are widely used — just select Houses for sale as your category, and then pick a city. You can ignore the rest of the fields.

I wonder if this place ever got sold? One anonymous sniper maligned it for the price, but I love the wall — if it went right around the place, it would be a definite selling point to me.

However, I’d definitely need some escalation of current income to be able to afford the place, so I’m not in the market.
